Black Pot
Cherry, sandblasted, Milk Paint, Oil, 3.25"d x 2.75"h.

Another reason I was itching to get the sandblaster back on line. I have been wanting to experiment with this process to create black-on-black stye pottery for some time. I still have some improvements to make, but I am pretty happy with this test piece. I was also able get it done in time to donate it to the Northwest Woodturners annual fundraiser auction.
Nice test piece Kevin! What are you using as a masking material prior to sandblasting?
Thanks, Russ! I used a sandblast resist that Trent Bosch sells by the foot on his website. It’s good stuff, and the only place I found to buy less that a full roll at a time.
