This hollow form vessel is turned from maple burl. It measures 5.5 inches tall by 4.75 inches wide. It is finished with aniline dyes and my own version of wipe-on poly. This is the first time using this wipe-on mix. I am quite pleased with it.

All comments, especially critiques are welcomed and appreciated.
Usually I don't care for colouring, however this one changes things, I think the word "magnificent," fits the bill Joe
 
Joe. once again nice shape and the color is beautiful. It adds a depth to the piece you couldn't get any other way. Nice job. Any time you want to share your finish I'm here.
