#2102 Australian Red River Gum Burl

This is my first attempt at Red River Gum burl, but I found it to be very similar to the other very fine aesthetic hard and dense burls from Australia. The very large voids and bark inclusions were difficult to address. 7 3/8" x 1 3/8.

Thank you, hughie......:)

I know that you are well aware of the difficulties turning these dense Australian burls, having done quite a few of them yourself. The big voids just make it that much more challenging a prospect for taking them over the finish line!
