Nice one Odie! There’s just something about Claro Walnut that makes you smile. I like the undercut rim and appreciate the even spacing between the crowded lines on the rim. Good stuff!

Odie, How long does it take you to buff a bowl like this? I want to learn more about this finishing method. Are there any existing threads that provide details? Thanks

I believe there are some prior threads on this. I suggest searching for "Beall" to see them.

I am totally sold on the methods I've developed for finishing.....Watco Danish Oil Natural + the Beall buffing 3-step system. It's not super shiny (I don't like super shiny very much at all!) The results that are possible are entirely dependent on how well everything was done up to that point......your lathe prep using lathe tooling, and sanding is paramount. You can't succeed with this finishing method, if everything prior to that isn't as refined as possible.

Like everything else, the more you do it, the better you get at it! :)
