I've posted a number of images of my half-twist bowls on the photo gallery. The process I use to make these is a combination of on-center and off-center (multi-axis) techniques. Recently I've gotten some comments suggesting I make a video on how to turn these shapes. Here's a link to my recently created YouTube video:

Damon, Yes I did mean to say roughing gouge. I think I had bowl gouge on my mind as an alternative for the 'edge cuts' where I used my Hunter Hercules 3 tool. The roughing gouge takes too wide a bite when trying to cut a precise edge.
