"Thoughts of Spring"

"Thoughts of Spring"

This is a piece I just finished while we where getting an early snow storm here in northern Maine, it had me thinking of spring. Turned from elm, hollowed, carved, sculpted with pyrography and painted with acrylics, about 6" tall.
Jack, I share your feelings. I live along the coast opposite Bar Harbor. And, while we've gotten more rain than snow, it's still not been a pleasant time. Your work is lovely and makes me think of what our gardens will look like around July. I don't get up to your country much, but maybe we can arrange a meeting.
