Southwestern Box Elder Bowl

This was my first attempt at a Southwestern form. The box elder was green, and was turned wet until finished over a four day period. The size is 8" in diameter, 5.5" tall, with a wall thickness of 0.25". Finished with five coats of gloss lacquer and Beall buffed. The half log had most of the color near the inside, and was very light on the outer half, so the piece was turned with the bottom from the outer part of the log. All comments welcome!
Thanks, Michael. This bowl was fun to turn, and I enjoyed watching the colors come up as the wood was shaped. Glad you noticed!
