Running Crow Bowl

Sometimes when turning, a grain pattern emerges under one's gouge. This one developed as a 'disfiguring stain' I was disappointed in, and on going deeper, was thrilled with as the picture revealed itself. The bowl is 10-1/2" in diameter, and the edge pattern is stamped on with a square carver's stamp, turned on point to make diamonds. Finished with Danish oil.
All comments most welcome.
What a wonderful surprise to find in this very nice work!
