This shows the lid a little better. Finish is padded shellac.

Also, you can see the stop at the base of the box. Just a piece of brass tubing with a turned cap on it. Stop installed on the inside prevents it from coming out. Very simple to do with almost any footed bowl. Thanks for looking!
