Mulberry Steps

My latest in my new carved rim series a self titled piece. Im loving how the carved rim works with these forms.really gives it some added flare. This is mulberry i recently finished and had the intent to put turqouise in the voids but i figured amythyst would work really well with the yellow hues. The finish is waterlox and buffed with three stage Beal buff. The rim was then textured with a wood burner.
It is 10" in diameter and 6" tall
