Happy Birthday "Danielle"

This is my birthday gift to my grand-daughter.
Cherry Vase with segmented Ebony collar. 4.5" x 8.5"
Oil and Wax Finish on vase.
Flowers are purple heart, leopardwood, box elder, and dyed holly, finished with satin something I had hanging about. Comments, good or bad are always welcome.
Hi Frank,
Because that is the way that I decided to make it, I believe that I was attempting to ad a somewhat Japanese influence to the shape, and had to get out of the box to do this. Hollow vessel work is very new to me, This is about my fourth attempt and so far the most successful. I really enjoyed making it. Jim
