Glimpse
Hi everyone,
I present to you the last piece that has just left the workshop. This is a collaboration with my friend Amandine Steck who makes stained glass windows (vitraux_honfleur or Louza_honfleur on instagram).
It is made of walnut without gluing, the dimensions are 18.3 inches high, 22 inches wide, and 20 inches deep.
The signature is below. It is noted G. Fontaine & A. Steck 2024 by pyrography.
The finish is a matte varnish only on the heartwood part.
The stained glass windows are made of tin, lead and glass blown and melted to blend with the wood.
