Cherry Burl Box

I made a Koa box a while ago, and swore off of them because it was such a pain...
Recently made a hyper curly ash box with a shell cameo set in silver, mounted in the top.
NOW we have this little piece:
The band/rim is an old carved elephant ivory bangle bracelet. In order to take the carving off on the inside and make the piece look right, I had to turn the box pretty thin.
The top is pressure set (no glue - "perfect" fit, I couldn't blow it out with 90PSI compressed air) with an abalone cameo.
Kukui nut oil sanded to 400 and buffed/burnished, the box is 2 3/4 inches in diameter by 3 1/2 inches high.

As Always, All Comments, Questions and Critiques Welcome
If you've seen one cherry burl box with an elephant ivory bangle bracelet and abalone cameo . . . you've seen them all. Hohum.
Kidding, of course. George, I think it's exquisite. Not only was it very well executed, but one can't help but be impressed by your creativity.

Jeffrey, Al,
Thanks for the kind words... I'll be doing more things like this, I have about 30 ivory bracelets of various descriptions.
