Chaco Passages

This is the latest in my Chaco Series. I have started coloring these with dry pigment mixed with denatured alcohol. After coloring they are wire brushed to give them a more aged look.
Beautiful!! If ever lucky enough to be in your neck of the woods, would like to visit and ask you to walk me through your process.

Beautiful form and the texturing and color are fantastic.
This is excellent Jim!!
Looks like youv been busy, beautiful pieces

Thanks everyone. Bill I would be happy to spend some time with you showing you the process. Have had a few calls on the process over the years but only one other turner that came in for a hands on.

Very nice Jim! You keep refining and perfecting this style. FYI - your steadyrest is still getting plenty of use in my shop.
