Bowl of Nuts

This is a collaborative piece and is my take on a supported bowl, as featured in one of the past American Woodturner magazines. The metal work was executed by one of my oldest friends who's an amazing metalworker. I did the bowl - Walnut w/ Gold Leaf - 9" dia x 3.5" deep - in North Carolina and sent it to him in NY along with a few 3D renderings of what i was looking for. The sculoture is 9" x 11" x 15" high. What a terrific piece, Scott. Great concept and execution. Of course, next time, you can just turn all those nuts and bolts yourself and eliminate the middle man. :)
