i would like to report a wow for the Tennessee Association of Woodturners Symposium. if you just need to getaway some winter, i suggest this event. the rotations were great, nice accomadations even though they were remodeling this year, good food, good variety of vendors, but the number and quality of turnings in the instant gallery was for me the meat of the weekend. i would post some pictures but i took over 100 and there is no way to choose one over another. they even let me show a Rover. i believe they will post pictures of the gallery on their website at sometime or by next year. again thanks 😀😀😀

Glad you had a good time Charlie, a winter getaway, I could use one of those,
yesterday. It has been ice, snow, rain, sleet, freezing rain, wet rain, gray cloudy,🙁

Jim, i did have a good time

one of the demostrators was from up your way, Bill Grumbine, he said that they left a day early to miss some weather, i lugged around heavy coat but only needed a sweatshirt, but it was only a small window of good weather, i think John Jordan said snow for that Tuesday, and he was heading to florida for their symposium 😀😀

I complimented the guys on a great symposium. It was one of if not the best symposium I've been to. The rooms are relatively small so seeing is easy. The demonstrator line up was excellent unfortunately I couldn't see them all.
