Where is Melissa?

AKA Truffuls? Her last post was in Dec. Her Blog doesn't go past Nov.

I don't know Barbara - she may be back in Richmond trying to track down the individual that stole her purse last summer at the Symposium...??

This is strange. I made a post with Melissa's response. She gave me permission to repost it.

Hi! Thanks for the note. I have several pieces to add to the site but have
had "issues": I was traveling most of December; sick in January; then my
back, already on its death bed, gave up. I haven't touched the lathe since
April. I'm going in for spinal surgery next Tuesday to fuse most of my
lower spine. Doc says recovery is 2 - 6 months, not sure when I'll be back
to my old self.

Best to you!
Melissa

Barbara,
Tell her it will get better. I've got a total of 7 disc fused. 4 in the neck and 3 in the lower back. The lower back was done in late Nov. I was back at the lathe in April. Feel free to giver her my contact info if she needs any info from someone who's had the surgery and also turns.
