anybody seen anything yet, i like to redo and redo it as i watch March Madness

I'd rather be turning round things than watching it bounce around the court. I can watch parts of it bounce around my shop if I'm not careful.

OK, are you guys speaking in code -- or -- am I clueless?

Circle the appropriate answer and no peeking at your neighbor's paper (or electrons):

  1. code
  2. clueless
  3. both
  4. neither
  5. don't know
  6. know, but not telling
The Powermatic 3520 has a "grid". So does my home made barbeque pit (expanded metal).

Oh I thought you were talking about the March madness grid. I could care less about basketball but turning, that's a whole new ball game.

thanks Al, working on it now, probably finish July 1

Rodger = received message and agree and/or will comply. Sometimes used with WILCO which means will comply.

A real n-th degree LID might say something like "Rodger Dodger WILCO Over and Out". Such LID-ishness might even incur the unspeakable wrath of the Wouff-Hong.

Being called a LID is NOT a compliment. There is no direct Ham to English translation for the word LID, but when one encounters a LID, cryptic oaths that scorch the paint on walls are often uttered. Although unintelligible, it is not difficult to get the drift of their meaning.

well, i had always thought that was roger instead of rodger, will not be the first time something is revealed

It probably is roger, but it might also be either one and I didn't see a reason to correct someone's spelling. Since it is verbal and not text the difference is not important.

i understand that some big texas ranches were owned by some english lords back in the cattle drive and real cowboy days, i thought he might have mint that rodger, as in the engilsh lord rodgered the people

hope i am not offended yall english dudes.....already got texas hot

Looks like you may be confined to Virginia for a while, Charlie. Just try not to offend the folks in Florida between now and the AAW symposium this summer. 😀

BTW, my Texana dictionary does not have a verb "rodger" (past tense, "rodgered") so could you explain what the word means in Virgina-speak? I just need to find out if there is a need to be concerned if an Englishman announced that he wanted to rodger me. 🙄 Some folks might not take kindly to being rodgered.

well before i head out for florida, making my first trip to to canyonlands and points north west....sort of trip of a lifetime, that is ok with you, then a couple stops in florida

Some folks might not take kindly to being rodgered.

please explain, Steve

either #1 or #6

Virgina-speak.....usually after a couple mint juleps

tell you the truth, i do not know if those little umbrellas come with mint juleps or not, the cavaliers are more into the mint juleps on the lawn, the rest of us are sort of ice tea in the cow pasture in hokieland

Ice tea sounds better -- and I have a cow pasture so I'm good to go. I wouldn't know the right way to hold or swill down a mint julep anyway.
