Yesterday morning I had a business appointment in St. Paul after which stopped at the AAW Gallery and Headquarters. Even though the exhibit closed last week they turned on the lights and cleared a path between the boxes so I could see the Tops and Treenware exhibit they were begining to pack up. Got a chance to visit with our Association staff. I greatly enjoyed the little detour in my day. They even humored me by looking at pictures of my turning work on my PDA. Great folks and the gallery space is in a wonderful old building which in itself was a treat to see. Thanks to Mary and staff for the warm welcome.

That's a very nice post Frank. I think other visitors experience a similar good visit. All AAW members should feel free to stop by the office whenever they are in the St.Paul area.

I forget the exact particulars of that building. But it is about 100 years old. It was once the main post office. I like the marble steps and the huge atrium. The building is huge, and the AAW has leased an office area and a gallery area on the same floor.
