I've been in South Africa for the past couple of weeks and change. I'm past the halfway point of this field season. This year I am trying a new format for some of my blogging - doing video blogs in addition to the usual posting I do with lots of pictures.
There are several already posted on YouTube and linked via my blog, so please feel free to take a look.
I'm posting this link about a walk up the forested side of Table Mountain because I think some of you might be interested to learn something about the limited forests of southern Africa in addition to the timbers used by the turners there. Dennis Laidler is an excellent tour guide for this information.

Feedback would be very useful to me as I'm developing my videography skills and video editing repertoire. Danke!
