I am selling a Laguna vacuum inverter for the 1836 lathe for $150 including priority mail shipping. It includes the mounting bracket - the 1836 lathe is pre-drilled to accept it. While the initial vacuum was adequate to hold a bowl using a Oneway vacuum chuck, I found that my small pancake air compressor would not keep up with air demand for vacuum chucking for more than several minutes. I feel that a bigger compressor would produce good results but I don't have the room in my shop for a bigger compressor. There are some cosmetic blemishes - a few small scratches but functionally it works well.
