The newest edition of the AAW FUNdamentals newsletter was emailed out today. I have a video that shows some of the ways I use magnets in my shop.

The link in the newsletter is incorrect, and I'm hoping to get that corrected soon.

In the meantime, here's the video

George,

I generally get rare earth magnets (N42 strength) on ebay... good prices, quick delivery.

This thread should probably be moved to the "How To" section of the forum.

Linda at the AAW fixed the link and resent the email, so now folks can find the video.

Betty,

I wonder if you noticed that I used the words "loop backed abrasives" when talking about the sticky stick. See, I appreciate the feedback.

Hey, thanks AlanZ..........😀

I'm already using magnets in quite a few different applications......and, your video has shown me some more ways I might benefit from them. Thanks for your time and effort to put together the video.

Good ideas for the lathe and the shop. I used masking tape and a small magnet to keep a pencil on my table saw. Hated to have to search for one.
