My selection is “Koa Bowl with inclusion” by Steve Worcester.




This light coming through this bowl caught my eye initially. The curve on the bowl moved it to the top of my list. Well done Steve. A great piece of wood showcased in an excellently executed form.

Well, this one is special to me. I sent Steve this piece of Koa. Steve is known for turning smaller work, he has a nice series going on. Knowing that I sent him the Koa thinking it was big enough for one of his pieces, and the inclusion was going to be turned away. Well, he decided to use the whole blank! The Koa was too nice not to use it all. I'm glad he did, he pulled it off nicely. Congratulations @Steve Worcester Simple form wins again!

Such an elegant yet simple form is beautifully complemented by the striking figure of the wood. Excellent choice for TOTW. Great work, Steve.
