I love these podlets that Ronald Campbell has been surface embellishing. These were left behind after his Woodturners Retreat ended in June. Ronald adopted them and made them into wonderfully magical flowers with his woodburning and painting skills. I love the whimsy that they display. I can see this on the forest floor in a Dr. Suess story.

I imagine that this should be a shared recognition. the podlets were either turned at or taught to retreat attendees by Greg Gallegos. So, my choice for Turning of the Week is "Building a Bouquet" a shared collaborative between Greg Gallegos and Ronald Campbell.

When pieces are hard to stop looking at, they become outstanding! The form of the pieces from the technical “turning” side and the “pop“ from the color side just make these fabulous!! Outstanding effort to all participants!!

Dramatic lighting and photography harmonizes one of the most outstanding pieces that I have seen since joining AAW in the 90s. Memorable!
