My selection is Ron Cambell’s "Loony Bird". It reminded me of Michael Hosaluk’s turnings where he cut up a turned form on the bandsaw and then rotated the pieces to create various shapes. I think Ronald took this idea to a higher level with Loony Bird. It isn’t easy to visualize how to make a cut with the bandsaw to achieve the intended shape.
