Don't Forget to VOTE!!!!

Choice Woods National Woodturning Championship:

What are we doing? We we are having a contest. Similar to the March Madness and we ask turners to send in their pictures of the best pieces that they have made. There are no professionals allowed, (Sorry Jimmy Clewes, you can not enter and no your wife can not enter either, she turns better than you anyway).

There are 64 "artist" that will compete. They have been chosen from over 130 entries. And boy was it tough for the panel of judges to pick them. Great turnings.

We will have prizes for the winners of the "Sweet 16", "Final 4" And the Winner.

So we need you to vote. Go to Choice Woods website and vote on your favorite piece. Voting will start on Monday March 7th. You only get one vote per "game" per computer. Tell all your turning buddies to vote as well.

If you have any questions just drop us a note at clay@choice-woods.com

Thanks for the help....

The top 64 artist have been finally picked. It was a tough one for the panel of judges. Thanks goodness I was not one of them. So now it is all up to you. Starting on March 7th you can go to the Choice Woods website and vote for the turning of your choice. One vote per person per "game" (or pairing). When a piece moves into another bracket you can vote on that piece or another one again until we reach the end and a winner has been chosen.

For those who did not make it into the top 64, it was a very tough process and your pieces are still very nice. Keep up the good work and we expect to see you next year.

For all those who made it into the top 64 congratulations! Get ready. it is a tough competition and everyone has the same chance to win. So get your friends and your club members to go and vote for your piece.

Good luck
Clay Johnson
