I had a problem with my insert for a new Supernova2 chuck on a 5 month 1624 . The insert would not seat against the headstock spindle. After going astray and trying it on a couple of other Novas on which it did work Tim Geist at Teknatool led me through the process while on a few phone calls. It was nothing more than a burr on the hole for the set screw. It worked on the other Novas just due to a difference in the machining, probably a few thousandths.

Thanks to Tim Geist for walking me through the analysis.

Tim has always been great to deal with. He has helped me out a number of times.
The last time was for headstock bearing that I thought I had going bad in my 3000.
Turned out the spindle pulley grub screw had loosened and it was rubbing.

Tim was great, offering advice and parts if I needed to order them.

Tim is indeed an asset to Teknatool here in the states.
A real decent guy.
He helped me on the phone for 30 minutes & ended up with an order for about $2.00 worth of parts.

Felt bad I didn't need to fix more stuff on my dvr.
