I just started to attend craft shows and am wondering what colour cloth I should get for the skirting and table top. I have had people tell me studies indicate that dark blue is best, another person said dark green is better. I wonder what the difference. Does the colour really make a difference?

Some promoters specify what color your skirting HAS to be in order for the show to look coordinated; however, most don't. I usally try to stay away from those shows.

I think you should look at the overall effect you are trying to generate in your booth and pick a color YOU think looks good. I coordinated my skirting with the colors in my wall panels and think it looks great.

I use dark green

In my booth, I used dark, dark green but my curtains are light to medium grey. Most of my vessels are made from light colored woods so the dark green is a nice contast that highlights the bowls. A dark color also hides wrinkles and dirty smudges.
