Hi,

Does anyone know the approximate attendance of last years Symposium? And the expected for this year?

Is there a place on this forum with info about the symposium?

Thanks,

Glad you said approximate.

San Jose was about 1200 registered.

Current registration for Tampa is about 1200
Generally there are a few less than a 100 on site registrations.
So something between 12-1300 for Tampa.

Thanks Al! Look forward to seeing you there. Sounds like this will be a little larger than the FL Symp in Eustis.

Mark, while there is a lot of info at the home page, i'm surprised how many questions weren't answered. Things like meals are not mentioned. There will be lots of exploring and fun.

The AAW Is a lot larger than most regionals.
A great time is guaranteed. expect to be overwhelmed.

I really enjoy the intimacy of the Florida Symposium. I enjoy the meals with friends....
The AAW is more like a 3 ring circus lots of things to choose from and the Instant gallery is fantastic.
The same vendors that support the Florida symposium will be at the AAW along with 53 more.
I walk thought the instant gallery a half dozen time and every time I see pieces that I did not focus upon in previous visits.
I get to see lots of friends at the AAW But it is usually just to say hi.

Google Maps for Tampa is your friend😀

You won't find eateries and such on the AAW site although there is usually a list of hotels and near-in campgrounds, etm.

If you want "locals" info, look up the folks in the local club for their faves and pans on anything from eats on down the list.

Have fun! Just remember, when trying to drink from a fire hose, you need breath once in a while.😀
