Spraying finishes

Wayne - I don't have one, but I looked at the manual for one. They mention many times that you can't spray anything with a flashpoint below 70F. I think that would rule out lacquers, alchohol based dyes and shellac. I suppose there is the possibility of the thing exploding or turning into a flame thrower with volatile stuff.

I also don't see any option needle sets / nozzles to optimize use with different materials. It really seems designed for contractor type applications for the DIYer.

I know you really want to hear from someone who actually has tried one, but I just wanted to offer the above in case you are thiniking about trying one if you don't get any responses from experienced users.

Thanks for the help Ed. The flash point thing gives me great concern.
Steve I mostly like to use waterbased coatings, but also use lacquers.
I have a 30 gal. compressor, and my budget is within reason (just don't let
my wife know)🙂
