It took a day to build the crate and pack them, and sixty buck to get FedEx to ship them, but I'm pleased to say that two of our pieces for the STEP UP TO THE PLATE exhibition have just arrived in Louisville. A couple months back I posted five threads featuring collaborations with my wife Ruth which we called "And now for something completely different". Two of them were excepted into the show. These pieces are much larger than most of the work posted on this site, and a lot of detail is lost in the photos. So we are pleased that our friends in the turning community will be able to see them in person.
 
I'm looking forward to seeing those pieces too! The exhibition catalogs were announced in the Journal but no one told me ahead of time. I'll get them posted as products by Monday (or before).
