Just got my directory with the sharpening CD. Nice work! Thanks to all who worked to put this CD togetherl. In a little over an hour, it covers what took me several years to learn. This should be a must see for anyone learning to turn.

Agreed! The sharpening CD is indeed excellent, and well worth the price of admission. It's especially helpful for those of us who are somewhat isolated in the boondocks. Any chance you could do one for next year on the various cuts with 3 or 4 tools? Granted that there is a lot of material already available, but would still like to see something like this from AAW.

is the sharpening disk a cd or dvd??????????
 
Yeah, it's a DVD, and it even plays on my old hand me down player, which the one about my lathe control system wouldn't. I have to write in and ask Bill B. every time I have a dumb question about it.

Oh well, I did look through the directory. Great stuff. One of the best resources for newsletter editors and program chairpersons. 🙂
