There is going to be a pen contest sponsored by the IAP. I am giving a 250.00 prize for the winner. All pens will be voted on by patients, visitors and families of Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth. The pens would then be auctioned off to raise money for the Medical Center. If anyone would like to participate in this. Please email me at rtjw@swbell.net. We have asked some suppliers to participate in this also. Your business card would be placed by the pen while voting was taking place. If you have any questions please email me or look on the IAP website.

Thanks

HI
It is under pen contest in the discussion (upper right corner) column. I registered for this. It sounds like a very good idea. the freedom pen project is also another good idea. We like to do it (turn pens) and do what we can to help others, its fun and donating is for a good cause. helping kids

Kurt,
The contest is for IAP members
"The 2005 Perfect Pen Contest is for members of the International Association of Penturners."
However, anyone can join the IAP site for no cost... so come on over...

Ooops, Sorry Tom & a big thanks for catching me on that one!

You are right about the IAP members. And by all means, anyone interested, please join the IAP and get involved in this great cause. We at the IAP would love to have you all join and participate!

I got misled by what was going on in the thread about the auction and contest. I hope I haven't misled anyone else too - sorry.
