Would anyone know how I could reach Rick Anderson. In a thread a month or so ago, he mentioned adding a Oneway banjo to a Vega 2600 lathe. I've sent him a PM to ask some questions about any mods he had to make to get this to work, but according to the conversations tab, he has not been on here since July 1.

You did look at his member profile on the AAW main site, right?

I just did, but I don't see anything to help me.

The entry on the AAW main site does not seem to show any contact information. It lists a great deal of information about Rick and that the page was last update in December 2018.

So, I'm sorry, Emiliano, but I can't understand what you are trying to tell me.

The member directory is a service available to AAW members.
You must be logged in to see the menu selection.

Annotated screen shots should get you there.
If you do not have a login I’d and password You should get a screen to set them up.

Thank you, Al. As I am not a member of the AAW, that is likely why I cannot see whatever Emiliano was hinting at.

From your reply and Emiliano's, I assume that, since I am not a member of the AAW, I am not entitled to know how to contact Rick. I'll move on. Tks.

Back in the good old days you could Google a persons name and city and usually get an address, email and sometimes a phone number.
Now you get someone wanting your credit card number, name and date of birth.

Grant, there are lots of good reasons to join!

Mike: You have that right. :-)

Dennis: Yes, there are. I was a member some years ago. I just didn't believe that, for me, the cost in Canadian dollars was worth what I got out of it. I realize that saying that may open a can of worms better left closed, but that's the way it is.

As for what started this thread, I am assuming that only AAW members are permitted to view the contact information for other members. I have no quarrel with that. If I can't find Rick some other way, I'll either take a chance on the Oneway banjo or give up on the idea.

I was just loggin in to show him how to do just that. I was also going to mention that we are a member based organization, of course we are able to se who’s a member and how to- contact them. I have to add this to the long list of benefits of joining the AAW. Thank you Al for the help.

Grant, I sent you a message. Look in your inbox, right on the top of this page, to the right. Aloha
