Dear Fellow woodturners:

I am interested in locating other turners in and around St. Augustine, FL. I bought a 2nd home here about 2 years ago and have found only 1 other active turner (Bob Stoker). I've known Bob for quite a while and we meet for lunch about once a week. I don't necessarily want to start a chapter as of yet, but it would be nice to meet occasionally over coffee or whatever to discuss what each of us are doing, share ideas, wood etc.

I'm pretty well connected in the woodturning community throughout the SE, but I must be missing some folks. If there are any turners in the area I'd like to hear from you.

I am familiar with the Jacksonville chapter. I've done a demo for them and I Bob and I are judges for one of their annual events. They are a great bunch of folks and very active, but Jax is almost an hour away.
