We are all quick to complain when we are unhappy about things 🙄 - we forget to give out compliments. I believe you did a wonderful job this year in passing out the Sharpening DVD with the membership!! I have seen favorable comments about the DVD on multiple boards - not just our AAW Forum. This has caused more excitement about becoming a member than I have seen in the years I have been a member! I had a new turner needing help on a grinder and sharpening and suggested this week for him to call Mary Lacer and see if the "deal" was still available. Another new member is waiting right now for his DVD!

I personally am impressed with the quality of the DVD and have not had time yet to watch every minute of it! Outstanding quality and having the sharpening methods of 4 top notch turners shown is a real asset to my own personal library. Having seen this quality I will be checking out what other titles may need added to the home resource center!

Again - wonderful idea to include this DVD! Thanks for all your work!!

I'll Second that motion!

Wilford said it very well and I to would like to add my thanks to those that lead our org promoting our collective favorite past time. I can't wait to meet our leadership and thank them in person at the Symposium.

Thanks

Got my directory and cd, and watched it that nite-nice job, and thanks to all for the effort in producing it. I am a believer in supporting the parent organization even without receiving the extra perks. Gretch

Great DvD

I watched the DvD and was educated by the breadth of various ways of sharpening. I just purchased a jig to assist me with sharpening. I have been free handing it for 3 years now. I am very pleased to see all the different techniques and different jigs from the different demonstators. Thanks alot to the hardworking individuals whos actions I can only hope to achieve when I become a better turner because of their help. Thanks!
