There are times, when turning, or especially cleaning the shop, when you can put your brain on park.

I used to listen to the radio, a lot. Mostly songs, but also some talk shows. Well, recently I found a new thing to listen to

Audio Books

Since audio books can be, well, expensive. A seach for "free" books resulted in finding that places like LibriVox have released many books in the Public Domain (ie the copyright has expired, if it ever existed).

Such great titles as Sherlock Homes, John Carter of Mars and Tarzan.

My noise-canceling head-phones have a radio built in, but also a jack to allow me to jack in an MP3 player, with the flash-memory MP3 players getting, well, cheap. I suspect I will be adding one in the future.
