I don't acually have this lathe -yet- but from what I'm reading I can't figure how one raises it from the 44.5" spindle height. Are the feet adjustable or does you have to build a platform or legs to raise it a couple inches?

Thanks

Ron, That is a fine lathe, in order to get the height that you want you will have to use blocks. The adjustments are for leveling, just about 1/2" or so. I picked up a 4"x 6" tember from big box store ran it over the Jointer then thru the planer so it would be good and square ( I cut one pc for each end of the stand)and set the lathe on it then leveled with the levelers. made it higher than I needed and then built a wood platform to stand on. For me wood is better for me to stand on that the foam pads ( you know everone is different some say pads, some wood, and some it don't matter.) Enjoy the lathe

Thanks for the reply. That's what I figured to do to get it up an inch or so. Ordered from Brad at Packard yesterday. He says it'll take about a week.

Ron
