Hi, I am new in this forum and at wood turning. I have a problem I will appreciate very much to be helped about if anyone here knows how.
I have a Oneway 1224 lathe and I like to do bowls in it. I got pretty soon tired of shavings and of the process of emptying a blank, so I decided to get a center saving tool and I went for the standard size McNaughton system🙂. After buying it I realized I can't fit it on my Oneway 'cause the banjo doesn't allow the tool support to come down to level🙁. Any one know how to circumvent this? Or should I take back the McNaughton and go for the Oneway coring tool? I'll rather fix the problem and keep the system I have now.
Thank you very much for your input.
