I won't be leaving until Thursday morning. Taking my dad's Urn by my mothers on the way in. Thought about cancelling but they know how much I love these symposiums so they insisted I go.

Yea, but fun for the wood-a-holics and tool-a-holics.... Oregon Woodturning Symposium in March, KC for next year's Symposium (I grew up just north of there), then Portland after that. I might have to retire from being a vendor by then, takes too much play time out of the shop...

Symposiums sound like a lot of fun plus lots of useful information.
Jamie, my son flies to China every year- over 24 hours total in the air. That's a lot of air time!

I'm really looking forward to the Symposium, but dreading that 56 mile (yes, fifty-six miles) drive. I'll have to leave early enough on Thursday to be at the Instant Gallery Check In, where I'll be working on the 2 - 4 shift. See y'all there.

It's a 37 mile drive for me. I have to be there this afternoon and at 8AM tomorrow. I will, however, drive to a rail station, take MARTA and walk to the venue from the Peachtree Center station.

In upstate SC about 2 1/2 hour drive. We have 2 grandchildren in Atlanta and 1 in Athens GA all of them will be in the Sat AM youth rotations. See you all there.

I'd not be able to walk.😛 I flew cross-country to see my late sister a few years ago. Fortunately, hubby still had frequent flier miles to upgrade to first class. Don't see that happening again🙄 Enjoy, I'll go to the Oregon gatherings.
