Nova Lathe with Extensions Attached

Hello,

I was researching Nova lathes, and came across a picture of a very long trunk being turned on a Nova which had several extensions added. Attempts to refind the link have failed - any help?

I don't know where the link is. The Nova 3000 that I had and the Nova Comet would accept as many bed extensions as you would like to put on them. I don't think they make these bed extensions anymore but I haven't asked Technatool. The new Nova 16/24 also accepts bed extensions but I haven't looked to see if you could add more extensions on this one. I'll bet you can.
I doubt that lathe is heavy enough to turn a tree trunk of any size. A bed post or hollow porch column maybe but a full size log would scare the hell out of me on that lathe. I'm not sure I would attempt it on my Powermatic.
 
Google [nova lathe extensions trunk] should re-find the URL. The first hit just now was this very thread, so ignore that one. Change to "long trunk" for refinement of the search.

There used to be a photo on the Teknatool web site showing just that, haven't looked to see if it's still there.
