This is another new vessel that I finished last week. It is Red Morrel and Wenge it stands 14" and is 5 1/2" wide. It took me a little under 10 hours, this is the third one that I have done, so it still takes some time to do the hollowing and spindle work. I kept the finish flat, I think it gives it an antique look. Was asked if I wanted to sell but don't know what would be a good price. Still working on learning how to take good pics.

2-300 range? Maybe a bit higher in a gallery setting.

Nice work. Holds together very well in form and proportions. Very attractive.

Very nice piece. I think the suggested price range 2-300 is correct. Do you glue the top part on of leave it removeable? I assume the Red Morrel is hallow.

Piece is nice, really nice. If you are to do your own photos, think about a photo tent. I picked up one on E-bay with 4 backgrounds for $33.00 I got the medium size, I can put a 24" piece in it and get a nice photo. I light it with two 3200 K bulbs in simple lamp holders. The sides diffuse the light nicely. Check out photos on www.eddiecastelin.com or www.bayouwoodturners.com.
