Even though I have posted for about a year I just joined a woodturning club in Holton, Indiana and joined the AAW today. I have wanted to join for months but getting into a working club put me over the hump and I needed to join.
Thanks for all your help on this forum. Gary

Welcome to the AAW Gary!

You will find that there are many benefits to being an AAW member, and I hope to see you at a regional or national symposium at some time in the future!

Turn safely!

Hi Gary - Log into the members only area and check out the online back issues of the journal. Well worth some time looking through them. Welcome to the AAW.

Way to go, Gary!

Now you're "legal" 😀

Please don't hesitate to get involved. Funny thing about the AAW; the more you give without expecting anything in return, the more you get back.

Hi Gary.......

I participated in this forum for several years before I joined AAW!

Because I've found these forums so useful to my woodturning efforts, joining up does give me a sense of legitimacy.

Without these forums, I would not be achieving the satisfying results I am currently experiencing......and, the interaction with other turners is something I feel is important to my continued growth as a turner.

See you around, friend.......

Thanks to all for the welcome- Odie, I appreciate your attention to my posts when I have needed help. I too get a lot from this forum and appreciate you accepting my problems in turning and your help in correcting my inadaquacies. Thanks again and I hope to see you at some event. Gary

I've been a member for several years. I too enjoy reading and learning from the forums and the galleries. I really appreciate Odie and his enthusiasm for teaching and sharing. doc
