Well, after a painstaking effort, the new photo gallery software is installed and running.
I think we lost the 45 or so uploads since we moved the forums, but that was the sacrafice to get the 3600 old ones in. For that I apologize, but I think it was the right decision.

If you have any comments or questions about the new forum software or photo gallery, please let me know (there is a side forum for move issues you can post them in).

Thanks for your patience,
Steve & Ken

Well done Steve...most will not appreciate the work you've put into this transition, but be assured that you’ve done a heck of a good thing. BTW, the new photo gallery looks great!

Oh, I don't know, Ed, I think we all can appreciate the work Steve put into the new gallery. Most of us either have websites, are trying to make websites and/or have gone through the pain and agony of posting pictures on the internet. Some have come through with their minds intact, others....well, learning computerese can take it's toll!

Seriously, Steve, you did good.

I cannot imagine doing this... at all. I really missed the pics too. I didn't know what was going on for a few days. I really appreciate the pics. No, I really appreciate this whole website!! All the people doing all this work behind the scenes... as volunteers! Awesome!

Just for the record, Steve did all the work but I would like to thank everyone for their patience ;)
I do know that Steve put a lot of time, head-scratching, and even personal expense into the move and it was very frustrating at times. Congratulations for a job very well done, what a great improvement over the previous version!

You know the time difference worked to my advantage. I got an extra hour of work out of Ed when I needed it.

I have also done a little tweaking to the front page of the forums and have a bit to go, but I think you will enjoy all the extra little tweaks you can do individually on your own options pages.

Hi Steve,

I cannot even imagine all the work involved with the move. I would like to add my personal thanks for all the work you and everyone else puts into this forum and the web site.

Well done!!

P.S. Thanks for the prompt delivery on my last order of sanding discs. I was also very happy with the few little extras you tossed in the box. They work great!!

Dave
