Need Help On Vega Lathe

I need some info on a vega 24" bowl lathe, they want 1200 and this is about in my price range, will be doing mostly bowls, do yery little turning between center.

Just buy it. If you decide you don't like it you can surely sell it again for $1200 🙄

I've turned on this lathe in Bill's shop. If you can pick one up in good condition, do it. Buy 2 if you can 🙂

Mike, do you have any info as to the specs or condition of the lathe? This is an almost too good to be true price if has the 3 phase 2 HP motor on it. If it does, and it is in good condition, grab it grab it grab it!

Bill, thanks for your help, lathes is 1998 , 220 1-1/2 reversable motor. He says its in great codition, weights about 600 pounds and he has added 300 to it. He is going to e mail me photos. I'm like you, he gave 2600 for it in 98 this sounds like what I was looking for about 500 less than I thougt it would sale for.
