No, I haven't figured out how to chuck an ice cream cone and turn it. But I'm giving it some thought...

I will be running an article in the August issue of Woodturning FUNdamentals demonstrating the turning of some wood ice cream cones--shaped like cake or sugar cones, complete with scoops of ice cream.

I would love to accompany the piece with a one or two page gallery spread of images of other turners' work.

If anyone has played with this form and would like to participate, drop me an email or send an image to me at editormcivor@woodturner.org.

Photos should be high resolution so that they can run at 300dpi. Make sure to include your name and a little info about the piece/pieces (size, wood species, a little background on the turning).
