This is Estate Wood. Does anyone know what it is? I believe it originated in Georgia.

I'll go for Sycamore, because it's more or less native, versus the exotic eucalyptus. Lots of different looks to eucalyptus, but this doesn't look like the ones I saw. http://www.australiaplants.com/Eucalyptus_bark.html

Big wide leaves, Sycamore (plane), long stringy, eucalyptus.
 
I'm leaning toward Sycamore although you usually see more white bark flaking off. If the wood has been sitting around or move it may have rubbed all of that off.
 
My first thought was cedar/pine/cypress. Looks like there is a bit of fiber between the bark and wood. Smell should give it away. Does look similar to some sycamore/plane, but not like the stuff we have out here.
