this project has been in the works for months now. Gathering materials and searching out the rite wood for the project. I started buying materials for this project in June.

For those that don’t know I will give a slight back story on me. I have been a man avid wood worker for 25+ years. But I make my living doing countertops. Granite, corian, all solid surfaces, marble, wood, literally every thing. So I have been incorporating what I have learned over the last 25 into my wood turning. I have only been turning for 3 years.

In this video I am cutting quartz on my Yukon bridge saw. To give some perspective the blade is a 20” blade and this saw will take up to a 36” blade the white quartz is being cut to just under 1/16” thick. The larger pieces are brain coral. I’m at least a week away from the next step involving this material. If you follow my work that you know my goal is to be different to push the limits and standards. I use new methods to help with that. I’m going to do my best to add 1 new video to my YouTube Chanel each week feel free to ask questions.
