Modular lathe tools from Gladstone?

While reading the latest issue of the AAW's American Woodturner. I found the ad for the modular tools from Gladstone Tools. Either the modular spindle set or the mini hollowing set.
I am wondering what others think of them?

How about their modular mini spiraling tool system?

They are VERY similar to a set that Sorby makes.
I have the Sorby set, they are ok for turning and hollowing small things.
The spiraling tool is really nice for texturing.
The major difference between the mini and the large sorby tool is the bearings ( and the price ).
The mini really does not have any brarings and sustained use will wear it out.
I know of at least one production turner that wore one out very quickly.

It also has just a screw that runs through the piece to hold the texturing tools. If you run it the wrong direction it will unscrew and you lose the screw in the shavings. :) I added a bushing to mine after that happened and added the new screw. Now it works pretty good.
