Merry Xmas

Hello Jim and Irene,

I also send out my best wishes to all my woodturning friends for a Happy Holidays. I hope to meet you all someday, somewhere.

On another note, I see from your tagline that you at one time sold the Woodfast Lathes. Do you know if they are still being made? It seems that all the links to this fine lathe have vanished. 🙁 Any info you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Best wishes,
Dave

Woodfast lathes

Dave Woodfast are still in business but only in a very small way. They are only supplying accessories for the lathes. There is talk of a new lathe some time in the new year. We will wait and see. They do not have a proper web site and have moved since the original was created. They did produce a very good range of lathes but found it hard to compete against the chinese imports.

I am very grateful to this community for helping me learn constantly. But I am also thankful for the fellowship. I experience that care at my local chapters, including Georgia AW, Apple Ridge AW, and Brasstown. No where have I found a more generous and sponsoring group. I hope you enjoy these special days with joy in whatever tradition forms your Center.
Blessings,
David Galloway
